Weight Loss

Weight loss is simple yet extremely challenging, whether it’s attacking the 30 pounds that have magically appeared around the midsection or hips or the 10 pounds of recent holiday delights. Maybe you just feel terrible and lack energy. Maybe you’re frustrated because you lose weight and gain it right back. For many, some or all of those things have become a lifelong struggle.

I have the answers. They live within my DEFY gravity philosophy: “Eat Less, Move More.”  And yet the change is extremely challenging and the questions can be endless. What are the best foods to eat (calories in)?  Should I do strength training or cardiovascular exercise to lose weight (calories out)?  When are the best times to eat (calories in)?  How many days per week should I work out (calories out)?  Should I eliminate carbohydrates (calories in)?  Will lifting weights make me bulk up (calories out)?

Simple. Challenging.

In my 15 years of experience hundreds of my clients have lost weight and kept it off. I help people identify ideal body weight and body fat based on their age, height and body type. We implement a complex strategy that includes strength training, cardiovascular exercise and proper nutrition.  Each person is unique and requires an individualized plan.
